After her adoptive father died, she was able to go on, face her true heritage and lead the Cinq Kingdom. Then, she was strong enough to take on her biological father's ideals and lead Cinq as the pacifist state it is, which cannot be easy in a world consumed in war. After she took on the role of Princess of Cinq, her newly found home was destroyed, and she was strong enough to realize that the only available option was so surrender. Swallowing one's pride on such a scale is something that must be very hard to do. After being made Queen of the World, and used as a figurehead, she managed to use the pitiful power she had to make a real difference, and gain more power and respect then she did before. And thoughout all this, she manage to at least begin to crack Heero's hard shell and make him more human. All in all, Relena is one of the strongest females in Anime that I have ever seen, and the only one who deserved the title 'Strongest Female' and yet has never harmed a soul. (Well, she slapped Mariemaya, but that doesn't really count.)  |
